Day 01

Arrive in Kathmandu Airport (1345 meters).

Welcome to the Himalayan country of Nepal. Representative of MMAT NEPAL receives at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. A short briefing is given to you about the activities of tomorrow. Overnight at hotel. (B&B)

Day 02

Information about trip and sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley.

After the breakfast, you set out for the guided city sightseeing trip. Kathmandu is a city of temples. The tour escorts you to the UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. Temples and Buddhist Stupas are the focused travelling monumental sites. Pashupatinath (Hindu shrine), Boudhanath (Buddhist Stupa), Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa are some of them. The mediaeval arts and architectures are amazing. Drive back to the hotel and take a rest. Overnight at hotel. (B&B)

Day 03

Drive to Pokhara. About 6 hours.

Tourist buses leave at 7 am in the morning so you have to report at 6.30 am. But, the time is flexible having a private vehicle. It is more comfortable and run as your time. Leaving Kathmandu, the Hilly scenery astounds you. The winding road above the River, forests, villages, fields all are awesome. Reaching Pokhara, transfer to the hotel. If you like, we can get out for the boating or walk around the city. Overnight at hotel. (B & B)

Day 04

Drive to Phedi (about 1 hour) and trek to Dhampus (1694 meters). About 3-4 hrs walk.

After breakfast in the hotel, we take a drive to Phedi. Then we begin to walk through the steep up trail. Then the flat trail comes after a short walk. The mixed villages can be seen at the beginning part. Later on, we pass Gurung dominated villages. Dhampus is located beneath the Annapurna region peaks. Gurung people and their lively folk culture fascinate you. Gurung dress and hospitality are incredible. Overnight at lodge/home stay. (B, L, D)

Day 05

Trek from Dhampus to Sarangkot (1519m). About 6 hours.

After a nice breakfast, we begin to move ahead. Sarangkot is our destination today. Again, the trek goes through the terraced rice fields and forest. Sarangkot is a wonderful sunrise and sunset view point. It is an opportunity to view the striking white peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 06

Trek back to Pokhara. About 4 hours.

You have three options to descend Pokhara. The first one, which we also recommend is taking a Paragliding flight and land at Pokhara. Take the benefit of this adventure experience because Sarangkot is one of the best paragliding spots in the world. The next option is trek itself. The trail from Sarangkot to Pokhara is fine, little bit steep down. The third option is driving. If you are in hurry, then it is beneficial. After trekking down to Pokhara, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel. (B & B)

Day 07

Drive to Kathmandu. About 5-6 hrs.

In the morning we drive back to Kathmandu through the Prithvi Highway. Arriving Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel and rest. Overnight at hotel. (B & B) (MMAT NEPAL recommend a trip to the Chitwan National Park to enjoy the Jungle safari in Nepal. It is the most visited national park of Nepal, which is a home of one-horned rhino and the Bengal tiger).

Day 08

Transfer to the International Airport for your onward destination.

Thank you for your trip with MMAT NEPAL. Our representative drops to the airport for the final departure or to your further destination.

The environmental, political and several other factors that are beyond the control of our team might be the hindrances in the trip. It is quite unusual for the alteration of whole itinerary; however, these factors can be responsible for the change and improvisation of the proposed itinerary. In such cases, the group leader or the trekking guide would decide the best alternative possible and try to minimize the problem as per the group’s interest. However, the company would not be responsible for the result of the alternatives and change in the suggested itinerary.
