Day 01
Arrive in Kathmandu airport (1345 Meters ).
Welcome to the Himalayan country of Nepal. Representative of MMAT NEPAL receives at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. A short briefing is given to you about the activities of tomorrow. Overnight at hotel. (B&B)
Day 02
Information about trip and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.
After the breakfast, you set out for the guided city sightseeing trip. Kathmandu is a city of temples. The tour escorts you to the UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. Temples and Buddhist Stupas are the focused travelling monumental sites. Pashupatinath (Hindu shrine), Boudhanath (Buddhist Stupa), Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa are some of them. The mediaeval arts and architectures are amazing. Drive back to the hotel and take a rest. Overnight at hotel. (B&B)
Day 03
Drive to Pokhara (820m). About 6 hours.
Tourist buses leave at 7 am in the morning so you have to report at 6.30 am. But, the time is flexible having a private vehicle. It is more comfortable and run as your time. Leaving Kathmandu, the Hilly scenery astounds you. The winding road above the River, forests, villages, fields all are awesome. Reaching Pokhara, transfer to the hotel. If you like, we can get out for the boating or walk around the city. Overnight at hotel. (B & B)
Day 04
Fly to Jomsom (2720m) and trek to Kagbeni (2810m). About 3-4 hours.
From Pokhara, we take a half an hour flight in the morning. The Himalayan flight is awesome, making the route between the Annapurna (8091m) and Dhaulagiri peak (8163m). Landing at Jomsom, we make our way through the windy Kali Gandaki valley and reach to Kagbeni. This is the gateway of the Upper Mustang. This is the time to imagine the landscape of the Upper parts. Day 05
Trek to Chele (3050meters). About 6 hours.
Today, the trekking trail splits towards the Upper Mustang from the main trail to Muktinath. The arid landscape, colorful vegetation and brown hills are wonderful. First we reach to the Tangbe village, crossing the narrow alleyway. Apple orchards and barley fields can be seen. If you look at your back, Nilgiri smiles you in return. From Tangbe, we walk a couple of hours to Chhuksang. The white washed houses can be seen amazing on the way. Then we ascend up to the Chele village. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 06
Trek to Geling (3500m). About 6-7 hours.
More arid landscape begins. After the breakfast, we walk through the narrow and steep path. Local people have similar houses with a fluttering Buddhist prayer flags at the roof top. Tibetan Buddhism is the main religion of the people around this place. Climbing down from the ridge, we ascend to Samar village. Descending from the ridgeline, we reach to another village, named Syangbochen. Our destination is Geling village where we can reach after crossing 3770 meter pass. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 07
Trek to Tsarang (3560m). About 6 hrs.
After breakfast, we climb up to the Nyi La pass. The views of gray cliffs are wonderful. Then we trek down and cross the Tangmar River. Across the River, we see the beautiful mani wall, which is relatively long. Climbing up to the 3600 meter pass lies ahead. From the top, we can see the eye-catching view of the Tsarang village. There we can see monastery and a five-storied white Dzong. It is a creative zone of different arts. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 08
Trek to Lo-mangthang (3710m). About 4-5 hours.
As we begin the trek, we explore one of the oldest monasteries of Nepal. It is believed that Lo- Gekar Gompa is a significant Gompa among the Tibetan Gompas. After exploring the locality, we march towards the stone-walled town of Lomanthang. We cross a ridgeline, from where the clear view of Lomanthang can be seen. With a gradual walk about an hour, we reach to the most awaited place of this trek. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 09
Exploration at Lo-mangthang. Overnight at guesthouse.
This is a huge day to explore the mediaeval monasteries, cave like settlements, Chhortens and sandy rocks. After exploring the Red monasteries and other attractions, we take a jorney to the Namgyal Gompa after a walk of a couple of hours. It is located at the hill top. After that, we move to the Tingkhar, known as the last village at the Tibetan border. A small village including about 40 houses is similar to the landscape. If you are tired, horse riding service is here. Back to Lo-Manthang. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 10
Trek back to Dhakmar (3820meters).
After breakfast, we begin to walk taking a different trail. It is again a fabulous excursion exploring the ancient Ghar Gompa, which is believed to be 1200 years old. It is also famous as the Rinpochhe monastery, which is a wish making monastery. People believe that their wishes get fulfilled. The dusty wind make further walk a bit tough, but we gradually reach there. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 11
Trek back to Ghiling (3800meters). About 5-6 hours.
After the breakfast at lodge, we embark through the sandy landscape. We need to be careful because after the noon, it is really tough to deal the sandy wind. Or we can walk in the evening time. Steadily, we reach to Ghiling. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 12
Trek back to Chhuksang (2980meters). About 5-6 hours.
We trek back to Chhuksang. The landscape is wonderful. The white-washed houses of this region and Buddhist prayer flags on the rooftop have increased the charm of the trek. Reach to Chhuksang and rest. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 13
Trek to Muktinath (3760meters). About 6-7 hours.
From Chhuksang, we make our way to the Muktinath temple. It is one of the most popular temples in Nepal, where Hindu and Buddhists want to reach at least once in their lifetime. Having a bath is believed to take away all the sins. Then we walk around the temple. Trekkers who have crossed the Thorung pass also rest here. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 14
Trek back to Jomsom (2720m) Via Kagbeni. About 5-6 hours
We pay our homage to the Muktinath temple. Then we begin our trek from Muktinath quite early than usual. Via Kagbeni, we follow the bank of the Kali Gandaki River. Walking through the windy valley is comparatively tough. Gradually, we reach to Jomsom and rest. Overnight at lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 15
Early morning fly back to Pokhara.
A half an hour flight in the morning takes us to Pokhara from Jomsom. Then transfer to the hotel. You can do sightseeing the rest of the day. Make your day wonderful. overnight at hotel. (B & B)
Day 16
Drive back to Kathmandu. (Can fly if required).
In the morning we drive back to Kathmandu through the Prithvi Highway. Arriving Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel and rest. Overnight at hotel. It is the most visited national park of Nepal, which is a home of one-horned rhino and the Bengal tiger).

Departure.
