Day 01
Arrival at Kathmandu (1350m).
Upon your arrival at the international Airport at Kathmandu, our representative would pick you up and transfer to a hotel. A short briefing about the next day activities is provided and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 02
Kathmandu Sightseeing tour and trekking preparation.
After breakfast you are guided out for the sightseeing tour of different UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. We visit different culturally significant locations such as Boudhhanath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu durbar square and Pashupatinath. We prepare for trekking and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03
Drive to Soti Khola from Kathmandu.
Early morning we drive towards Soti Khola. The picturesque drive offers beautiful glimpses of Himalayas, countryside villages, hills and rivers. The long ride passes through plastered road up to Dhading Besi and is followed by unpaved and bumpy drive. We pass through Arughat along Budigandaki River and finally arrive at Soti Khola. We stay overnight at a guest house in Soti Khola.
Day 04
Trekking from Soti Khola to Maccha Khola.
We perform trekking along the beautiful forest with uphill and downhill trekking trails. We trek along the Budigandaki River through the waterfalls and observe beautiful Annapurna massif on the way. We trek throughvillages like Riden Gaon, walk through terraced fields and across suspension bridge over Budigandaki river. We finally arrive at Maccha Khola and stay overnight at a local guest house.
Day 05
Trekking from Maccha Khola to Jagat.
We ascend uphill after enjoying our breakfast at Maccha Khola. We elevate towards Tatopani through Khorlabeshi village crossing Maccha Khola (river). The trail after the hotspring at Tatopani goes through forest and scenic sight of rivers changes to sight of Himalayas on further ascent. We reach Jagat after few hours of uphill trekking by crossing some suspension bridges. Jagat is the entry check point of Manaslu conservation area. We spend our night at a local guest house in Jagat.
Day 06
Trekking from Jagat to Deng.
Early morning after the breakfast we continue our trekking. We walk slightly uphill and follow a plain path and arrive at Philim village. The village has the abundance of Gurung inhabitants, monasteries and prayer flags. From Philim village the trekking route is further uphill. We walk through terraced fields, gorges and thin pine forest. After few hours of trekking through the rhododendron forest we can have the view of houses with the thatched brown roofs. We can also see Tsum valley and we walk further more to arrive at the Buddhist village Deng. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 07
Trekking from Deng to Namrung.
We trek through the beautiful green forest ascending uphill from Deng. We arrive at Namrung through stone paved trails leaving behind the beautiful rhododendron forest and chirping of birds. Namrung provides beautiful view of Mt. Manaslu, Siring, Himrung Himal, Himal Chuli and other Himalayas. The Buddhist Village is decorated with chortens and prayer flags. We stay overnight at a tea house in Namrung.
Day 08
Trekking from Namrung to Samagaon.
After thr breakfast we walk uphill, pass through the green forest and terraced fields to arrive at a Buddhist village Lihi. We descend further passing through the villages like Lho and Shyaula. Lho is a big village decorated with chortens, prayer flags and mani walls. We explore around the famous Rinbung monastery at Lho. Shyaula village offers panoramic view of Himchuli, Peak 29 and Mt. Manaslu. After short uphill walk from Shyaula we descend towards a river originated from Pungyen glacier. We arrive at Samagaon village and end today’s trekking. We spend the night at a guest house in Samagaon.
Day 09
Acclimatization day at Samagaon and side trip to Pungyen Gompa or Manaslu Base Camp.
Today we spend our day at Samagaon and perform an exploration trip either to Pungyen Gompa or climb towards the Manaslu Base Camp. We walk around the Sherpa village Samagaon and onserve their lifestyle. We trek towards the ancient Pungyen Gompa which lies on the hill behind Mt. Manaslu. From Pungyen Gompa we can enjoy the vista of Glaciers and Himalayas. We return back to Samagaon and stay at the guest house in Samagaon.
Day 10
Trekking from Samagaon to Samdo.
We walk through the flat meadows initially and cross the wooden bridge over Budigandaki River. We climb uphill through the Larke La pass trail after crossing the river. The trail marked by mani walls lead us to Samdo village which lies behind a ridge. We can have glimpses of Larke glaciers along the trail. We stay overnight at a local tea house in Samdo.
Day 11
Trekking from Samdo to Larke La Phedi (Dharamshala).
Early morning we begin our trekking with a downhill walk towards Budi Gandaki River. We cross a wooden overpass and elevate uphill through the mani wall marked trail towards Dharamshala. We cross few small rivers and observe beautiful Larke glacier on the way. We pass along Salka valley and ascend further towards Larke La Phedi. We prepare ourselves for the next day trekking to Larke La pass and stay overnight at Dhramshala.
Day 12
Trekking from Lake La Phedi to Bhimthang via Larke La Pass (5160m).
Today we cross the highest point of the trekking trail. This is toughest and longest trekking route of Manaslu circuit trekking. We ascend uphill early in the morning and enjoy the beautiful sight of Larke peak along the way. We walk through the wet glaciers and moraines and climb steeply to reach the highest point of the trek. Larke La Pass (5160m) offers stunnighg vista of Cheo, Himlung, Kanguru, Menjung and Annapurna II peaks. We proceed further for a long day trekking to Bhimthang. We walk through the meadows and forest and arrive at Bhimthang late in the evening. We rest and stay overnight at a local tea house in Bhimthang.
Day 13
Trekking from Bhimthang to Tilije.
We enjoy the great vista of Himalayas from Bhimthang early in the morning. We descend down through Sangurey kharka village. Further walking downhill we arrive at Dudh Koshi River and walk across a wooden overpass. We trek through pine and rhododendron forest and ascend uphill from Karche valley. We reach to Gho village after a steep climb over a hill decorated with prayer flags. We walk further through Gho enjoying the awe-inspiring panorama of Lamjung peak crowning the Marsyangdi valley. We arrive at the Gurung village of Tilije through oak and rhododendron forest and stay overnight at a guest house.
Day 14
Trekking from Tilije to Taal.
After the breakfast we start our trekking by climbing over a small hill. We walk through the stone paved path and we arrive at Dudh Kola (river). We walk through the mani wall surrounded path and reach a police check post. We pass through the checkpoint and arrive at Dharapani after few trekking hours. We enter the Annapurna circuit trail from Dharapani and walk further towards Karte village. After few hours of trekking across mani walls and a bridge over Marshyandi River we arrive at the village of Taal. Taal is located below the beautiful waterfall. We spend our night at a guesthouse in Taal.
Day 15
Drive from Taal to Besisahar.
We enjoy our breakfast and we leave Taal for Besisahar. We travel on a local jeep or bus which is about 5-6 hours of drive through powdery road. We pass through several villages and towns and drive along the Marsyangdi River. We arrive at Besisahar and check into a guest house and stay overnight.
Day 16
Drive back to Kathmandu from Besisahar and enjoy farewell dinner.
We drive through beautiful locations and enjoy the sight of hills and mountains on our way back to Kathmandu. We drive along the bank of Marsyandi and Trishuli River and pass through beautiful terraced farms on either side of road. We arrive at Kathmandu after about 8 hours of drive and move into a hotel. We enjoy our farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant and observe Nepalese cultural dance. We stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 17
Departure.
